Cookies
Cookies and browser storage
Last updated 17 October 2026.
Hullo uses two cookies, both needed for the site to work, and keeps a few things in your browser's local storage so you do not have to type them again. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
2.Local storage
Local storage stays in your browser and is never sent to Hullo by itself. The site reads it to fill things in for you.
hullo.boatLoa, hullo.boatIdPreference- What it does
- Your boat's length, or the saved boat you picked, so every mooring is priced for it without typing it again.
- How long it lasts
- Until you clear it
hullo.cart.<merchant>Strictly necessary- What it does
- Your basket with one merchant, with your notes and delivery time, so it survives a reload.
- How long it lasts
- Until you order, empty it or clear it
3.What we do not use
No advertising or analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, no social media buttons, and no fingerprinting. Our fonts are served from hulloapp.com itself, not from Google.
4.Maps
Pages with a map load map tiles from OpenStreetMap and OpenSeaMap, and the map's code from unpkg.com. Your browser asks those servers directly, so they see your IP address and the part of the map you are looking at. Hullo does not use them to track you. The privacy notice has more.
5.Your choices
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings at any time. Without the session cookie you are signed out; without the language cookie the site picks a language from your browser settings again.
6.Changes
If we ever want to add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it. Questions: [email protected].
